ADACOM had the honor of participating in the consultation organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority regarding the update of the National Cybersecurity Strategy for the period 2026–2030.
During the event, participants emphasized the need to revise the Strategy in alignment with the new regulatory framework shaped by the NIS2 Directive and Law 5160/2024.
The proposed methodology includes:
- Mapping of involved stakeholders
- Assessing the current threat landscape
- Identifying available funding mechanisms
- Defining strategic objectives and actions
- Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the Strategy
The discussion also highlighted the growing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in generating misleading content, which further amplifies modern cyber threats. In addition, the critical role of the human factor was underlined, as it remains the greatest challenge—one that can only be effectively addressed through continuous education and awareness.
Finally, the event underscored that investment in cybersecurity must become a national priority, strengthening mechanisms for monitoring, evaluation, and collaboration among all stakeholders.
ADACOM actively supports every initiative that enhances national cyber resilience and contributes to the creation of a secure digital future.
