ADACOM participated as a Silver Sponsor at the 18th Panhellenic Conference of In-House Legal Counsel, held on 30 June and 1 July at the Grand Hyatt Athens.

The conference was organized by Nomiki Bibliothiki, in collaboration with the Association of Corporate Counsel Europe (ACCE), under the auspices of the Athens Bar Association and the Association of Employed Lawyers. This year's central theme, "Building Resilient Legal Functions," brought together legal professionals to discuss the evolving challenges and priorities of the legal sector.

Recognized as a leading event for the legal community, the conference attracts more than 600 professionals from Greece and abroad every year, creating a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and discussions on the latest developments shaping the legal profession.

Representatives from ADACOM's Legal Department, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team, and Trust Services department attended the conference to stay informed about developments in the legal sector and exchange insights with industry professionals.

Their participation reflects ADACOM's commitment to engaging with the legal community and following the evolving regulatory landscape that impacts organizations across industries.

As part of the conference, Panagiota Lagou, GRC Director at ADACOM Greece, participated in the panel discussion "Managing Risk in a Hyper-Regulated World."

During the discussion, she highlighted the importance of effective technology governance in an increasingly demanding regulatory environment. She emphasized that successful technology risk management depends not only on implementing the right technological solutions but also on educating people, correctly interpreting regulatory requirements, and translating them into meaningful technological and organizational measures.

At ADACOM, we believe that close collaboration between legal, technology, and business teams is essential for building organizations that operate with security, compliance, and resilience.

Our participation in the 18th Panhellenic Conference of In-House Legal Counsel reaffirmed the importance of knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary cooperation in addressing today's regulatory and technological challenges.
