Given Adacom’s previous successful collaboration with major telecom provider in Saudi Arabia, the client requested the development and implementation of an application which would collect data and dashboards from various other applications and solutions in the organisation’s system (such as DLP, Websense Web filtering,Trendmicro OfficeScan antivirus, Excel charts), in order to generate charts or pies projected in rotation on the terminal.
The application would also generate weekly or monthly reports through time-triggering profiles to facilitate the executives’ monitoring possibilities. The holistic approach followed by Adacom team included the design, development, installation and configuration of the custom-made solution. The challenge of the project was the fact that input was provided in different forms from the various monitored systems, thus Adacom team had to find the most effective way to combine the different kinds of data received, without the use of an API.
VMWare infrastructure for the application was provided by the client, while specs, guidelines and client requirements were proposed and carefully defined by Adacom team through extended workshops.
Following the delivery of the project, the client requested the incorporation of additional data sources into the application.
