Guarded: Alert Level 2 (BLUE)
Unconfirmed intelligence exists that slightly increase the likelihood of a global risk event. Risk level will change when confirmed. At this time, emerging threats reflect a need for improved awareness without specific action required.
Elevated: Alert Level 3 (YELLOW)
One or more qualified threats exist requiring immediate attention. Substantiated intelligence exists for a global threat that is either likely or has high impact. Operational groups should be made aware of the threat to position teams for threat updates and preventative measures.
High: Alert Level 4 (ORANGE)
A clear and present substantiated threat exists warranting immediate and focused action. The likelihood of a global risk threat is high, with an impact that is notable or significant.
Severe: Alert Level 5 (RED)
A global attack is underway. The impact of such an attack is notable or significant, warranting an immediate response. Organizations will likely initiate a 24/7 emergency response team to respond to this elevated level of risk.
