“Beyond Encryption and eIDAS standards: Protecting Your Digital Business – How cybersecurity has turned into a problem for any industry” half-day event was held in Athens Hilton, organised by THALES e-Security and ADACOM SA, on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016.
The main focus of the event was enterprise cryptography, eIDAS standards, remote e-signatures and network encryption solutions. The event gathered numerous high profile attendees from the Public Sector, Industry and Banking Institutions.
ETSI Vice Chair Nick Pope presented an introduction to the eIDAS regulation and its impact in the Trust Service Providers while Sales Engineer Claudio Serafini focused mainly on the Thales HSM portfolio and how these devices can assist organization in different market segments to protect the most important asset they have, corporate information. Mark Saunders shared his experience from Thales network encryptors and how they protect information while they are in transit and Jan Kjaersgaard from Cryptomathic demonstrate their remote signature solutions. Claudio and Thales Bring Your Own Key was the last presentation focusing on how organizations can safely use the cloud by managing their own encryption keys. Dr. D.Patsos, Chief Technology Officer and Mr. E.Braun, International Sales Director of ADACOM S.A. will be among other international information security specialists to speak at Infosec 2015 International Conference “Rethinking Cyber Security” hosted by the Cyprus Computer Society in Nicosia, on the 5th-9th October 2015.
